Employment growth slows down in Q4.

Employment in the non-farm private business reached some 2 million positions in 2005. Its growth was substantial - some 5.5% y-o-y - as the new enterprises were able to accommodate fast idle resources. Thus in a year of no major privatizations, when the employment in the state business declined by just 34 thousand positions, the private sector, excluding argiculture, grew by 105 thousand jobs.
